Christine's subjects and scenes, depicted in oils or pastels, highlight her fascination with the forms and colours of clouds, and reflections and movement in water.

Christine also has enthusiasm for portraiture and facial expression, ethnicity and character.

Influenced by Japanese woodblock and the ethics of Japanese design Christine plays with patterns, grid forms and the natural abstraction of forms and combinations using rich colour laid
solid with hard edges, contrast and silhouettes.
